The lead database lets you find prospects inside OutreachFox instead of buying lists elsewhere. You describe your ideal customer profile (ICP) with filters such as job title, industry, company size and location, review the matching people, and unlock their verified emails with credits. Behind the search, OutreachFox runs waterfall enrichment across 50+ data providers, so the results combine several sources rather than one vendor's database.
Where to find it
Click Lead List in the left navigation, then New List (or Find Leads). The search page has a filter panel on the left and results on the right.
Steps
-
Click Lead List → New List.
-
Name the list; it is where unlocked leads will be saved.
-
Set People filters:
- Job title: enter titles or pick seniority levels (C-level, VP, Director, Manager). Use several synonyms: Head of Sales, VP Sales, Sales Director.
- Department or function.
- Location: country, state or city of the person.
-
Set Company filters:
- Industry.
- Employee count (for example 51–200).
- Revenue range, if available.
- Company location or HQ country.
- Technologies used (for tech-stack targeting).
- Keywords in the company description.
-
Click Search. The result count and a preview of the matching people appear.
-
Refine until the count is in the range you can work with (a few hundred to a few thousand).
-
Select the leads you want (tick individually or use select-all with a cap) and click Unlock to reveal emails (see Unlock verified emails and how credits are charged).
-
Unlocked leads are saved to the list and are ready to push into a campaign.
Building a good ICP search
- Start narrow and widen. VP Marketing at SaaS, 51–500 employees, United States gives a tight, relevant set. Add Head of Marketing and CMO only if you need more volume.
- Exclude what you do not want: current customers (upload a suppression list), competitors, and irrelevant industries.
- Company size is the strongest predictor of fit for most B2B offers. Pick a band, not "all".
- Save each search's filters in the list name: VP Mktg – SaaS – 51-500 – US – Sep26.
Tips
- Search results show counts before you spend credits. Iterate on filters for free.
- Do not unlock more than you can contact in the next 30 days; data decays and credits are better spent on fresh pulls.
- Titles vary by region: Managing Director in the UK is often a CEO-equivalent; Director in the US is mid-level.
- Combine a technology filter with an industry filter for the highest reply rates; the message can reference the tool they use.
Troubleshooting
- Too few results: remove the least important filter first (usually revenue or technology), then widen the employee band.
- Results are mostly the wrong seniority: add seniority-level filters rather than more title keywords.
- Duplicate people across searches: leads already unlocked are not charged again; duplicates are skipped when pushing to a campaign.
