This article is a map of the OutreachFox interface: what each item in the left navigation does, where the campaign-level settings live, and how to switch between OutreachFox and Icemail. Read it once and you will know where to look for everything else in this knowledge base.
The layout
After you log in you land on Campaigns. The screen has three areas:
- Left navigation — the main sections of the product.
- Main panel — the list or editor for the section you are in.
- Top-left product switcher — the OutreachFox icon with a small arrow. Clicking it opens a dropdown where you choose between OutreachFox and Icemail.
Left navigation
Campaigns
The home screen. It lists every campaign with its status. Use the search box to find a campaign by name and the status filters (active, paused, completed, draft and so on) to narrow the list. Create Campaign sits at the top right. Opening a campaign gives you its sequence editor, its Contacts tab (lead statuses such as replied and bounced), analytics and Edit Campaign → Settings.
Contacts
Your contact database. Upload Contacts imports a CSV, assigns it to a list (or creates one), handles duplicates (skip or merge) and maps columns. Lists created here are what you attach to campaigns.
Mailbox
Every sending account connected to the workspace. From here you:
- Connect Mailbox — Google Workspace, Office365 Outlook, SMTP/IMAP, or Import from Icemail.
- Select mailboxes and use the bulk actions: Enable Warm Up, campaign emails per day, and the three-dots menu (set/clear signature, delete).
- Open a mailbox → Settings to edit its signature and per-mailbox limits.
- Open a mailbox → Warm up tab to see health score, inbox and spam placement, bounce rate, send/reply history and ESP breakdown.
Connect LinkedIn accounts used by LinkedIn Outreach and Multi Channel Outreach campaigns.
Domain
All your sending domains in one place with their performance. Select a domain → Settings to add a custom tracking domain (CNAME at your DNS host → Save → Verify).
Settings / Campaign Settings (bottom left)
Workspace-wide configuration that campaigns reuse:
- Sending Schedules — named schedules with time zone, days, send window and an option to skip public holidays by country. A campaign picks one schedule.
- Reply Categorization — the default reply categories plus Create new category (name, description, sentiment, whether it counts as useful).
Account-level items such as plan, billing and credits are also reached from this area.
The product switcher: OutreachFox and Icemail
Icemail is the built-in marketplace for domains and mailboxes. To reach it, click the OutreachFox icon at the top left and choose Icemail. Inside Icemail you can buy domains, connect domains you own, buy Google, Microsoft, IMAP/SMTP or Azure mailboxes, and export them to OutreachFox. To return, click the same icon and choose OutreachFox. Mailboxes exported from Icemail appear under Mailbox → Connect Mailbox → Import from Icemail.
Inside a campaign
- Sequence editor — Start with Email or Start with LinkedIn, then Add Step, New Variant (A/B/C), and Conditions with day/hour waits. Editor tools: Variables, Spintext, Spam Words, Preview.
- Sender Accounts and LinkedIn Account selection.
- Contacts step — upload or select a list, map columns.
- Settings → Show Advanced Configurations — daily new contacts limit, sending strategy, start date, bounce-rate pause, plain-text sending, Risk Control (unsubscribe message and header) and Deliverability and Safety (auto match leads / ESP matching). Save changes with Resume Campaign on a live campaign.
Tips
- Bookmark Mailbox and Campaigns; you will spend most of your time there.
- Set up Sending Schedules and Reply Categorization once before creating campaigns so every campaign inherits them.
- If a menu item is missing, check that you are in OutreachFox rather than Icemail via the top-left switcher.
