Buy a domain through Icemail from inside OutreachFox

You can register new sending domains without leaving OutreachFox. Icemail buys the domain, sets up its DNS and makes it ready for mailboxes in one step.

Prerequisites

• An OutreachFox account.
• Enough balance in your Icemail wallet to cover the domain (and the mailboxes you plan to add).

Steps

1. Log in to your OutreachFox account.
2. Click the arrow at the top-left of the dashboard.

1. Select Icemail from the dropdown menu.

1. Click Add Domain.
2. Click Buy Domains.

1. Type the domain you want in the search bar, choose your preferred domain from the results and complete the purchase.

After purchase, Icemail shows the options for which mailbox type to assign to the domain. Continue with Buy mailboxes through Icemail (Google, Microsoft, IMAP/SMTP, Azure).

Choosing a good cold-email domain

• Use a variation of your main brand, not the brand domain itself: getacme.com, acmehq.com, tryacme.com, acme-team.com. Never send cold email from your primary company domain.
• Prefer .com, then .net, .org, .live. Icemail supports these TLDs; avoid cheap TLDs (.xyz, .info, .biz) that spam filters distrust.
• Keep it short, readable and free of numbers or hyphen chains.
• Check the domain's history before you buy. A previously used domain may be on a blocklist; Icemail runs a blacklist check before ordering and skips domains that fail.
• Buy several domains at once and spread mailboxes across them (2–3 per domain).

Connecting a domain you already own instead

From Add Domain you can also connect an existing domain. Icemail gives you its nameservers; change the nameservers at your registrar, wait for propagation, then complete the order. Mailboxes only are charged. Until the nameservers point at Icemail, mailbox provisioning cannot complete.

Tips

• Set the domain to forward to your main website so prospects who type it in land somewhere real. See Domain forwarding and MX records for cold-email domains.
• Domains bought here appear under Domain in OutreachFox once mailboxes are imported. That is where you add a custom tracking domain.
• Turn on wallet auto top-up if you buy domains regularly, so orders never fail on balance.

Troubleshooting

• Domain shows as unavailable. Try a different variation or TLD. Icemail shows suggestions.
• Order skipped a domain. The domain failed the pre-order blacklist check. Pick another name; a blacklisted domain will hurt deliverability from day one.
• Insufficient balance. Top up the wallet, then retry the order.
