You can add CC or BCC recipients to the emails a campaign sends. The usual reasons are to log every outbound email into a CRM via its BCC-to-CRM address, to copy an account manager on a specific step, or to keep a colleague in the loop. Use it sparingly: every extra recipient is another copy of the email, and CC in particular changes how the lead perceives the message.

Steps

  1. Open the campaign → Edit CampaignSettings (or the Settings step of a new campaign).
  2. Click Show advanced configurations.
  3. Find the CC and BCC fields.
  4. Enter one or more addresses, separated by commas.
  5. Click Save, then Launch Campaign or Resume Campaign.

The addresses apply to every step in the sequence. If you need CC on one step only, put that step in its own campaign or handle the introduction manually from the reply.

CC vs BCC

**CC****BCC**
Visible to the leadYesNo
Typical useIntroduce a colleague, show a manager is awareCRM logging (bcc@yourcrm.com), compliance archive
Effect on repliesLead may reply-all, including the CCNo effect
Effect on deliverabilitySlightly negative: cold emails with CC are unusualNegligible if the BCC address accepts mail reliably

Tips

  • For CRM logging, BCC only the address your CRM provides for inbound logging. Test with one send and check the CRM before launching to a full list.
  • Do not CC a lead's colleague you found in the same company; that is two cold emails, and recipients read it as pressure.
  • Keep CC/BCC addresses on domains that are not part of your sending pool, so a bounce or complaint on them is not attributed to a sending domain.
  • Replies from the lead go to the sending mailbox and are read by OutreachFox as usual; CC'd colleagues receive the reply only if the lead replies-all.

Troubleshooting

  • BCC copies are not appearing in the CRM: the CRM's logging address may require the sender to be a known user. Add each sending mailbox as a user or allowed sender in the CRM.
  • Emails now bounce: one of the CC/BCC addresses is invalid, and some providers reject the whole message. Remove the address and resume.
  • CC field not visible: expand Show advanced configurations; the fields are in the advanced section.
