You can finish building a campaign today and have it begin sending on a date you choose. The start date lives in the campaign Settings. Leave it blank and the campaign starts as soon as you launch it and the sending schedule opens.
Steps
- Click Create Campaign.

- Name the campaign, choose the campaign type such as Email Outreach, and click Create.

- Fill in the campaign: write the email subject and body for each step and save the sequence.

- Upload your contacts.

- Go to Settings and find the campaign start date section.

- Select the date you want the campaign to begin, or leave the field empty to start immediately.
- When everything else is set (mailboxes, schedule, limits), click Launch Campaign. Do not click launch until the earlier steps are complete.

After launch, the campaign shows as scheduled and starts sending on the chosen date at the first window in its sending schedule. To change the date on an existing campaign, open it, click Edit Campaign → Settings, change the date, Save, and Resume Campaign.
Tips
- Pick a Tuesday or Wednesday start; a campaign that starts on Friday sends its first step into the weekend for many recipients.
- The start date applies in the time zone of the campaign's sending schedule.
- Use a future date when mailboxes are still warming up. Set the date to the day warm-up finishes (14 days from connection is the usual minimum) so you do not have to remember to launch.
- If the campaign is already launched with no date, adding a date later does not pause it; pause the campaign first if you want a gap.
Troubleshooting
- Campaign did not start on the date: the date fell on a day or holiday excluded by the sending schedule, so the first send moved to the next allowed window; or the campaign was not launched (it is still in draft).
- Start date field is greyed out: the campaign has already started. Pause it and edit the date, or leave it as is.
