This article covers the first half of launching an email campaign in OutreachFox: creating the campaign, choosing the channel type and writing the subject and body of your first email. Personalisation, spam-word checks and preview are covered in the next article.
Prerequisites
- At least one connected mailbox (Mailbox → Connect Mailbox, or Import from Icemail).
- A list of contacts, or a CSV ready to upload.
Steps
- Log in to your OutreachFox account. You land on the dashboard.
- Click Create Campaign.

- Enter a name for your campaign. Use something you will recognise later, for example the audience and month.

- Select the channel type. You have three options: Email Outreach, LinkedIn Outreach and Multi Channel Outreach. Choose Email Outreach and click Continue.

- On the sequence screen, click Start with Email. This creates step 1 of your sequence.

- Click into the editor and type your email body. Add your email subject in the subject field above the body.

What you see afterwards: step 1 shows in the left-hand sequence panel with variant A. The editor toolbar shows Variables, Spintext, Spam Words and Preview. Continue with Personalise, check spam words and preview before you save.
Tips
- Keep the first email under 120 words and the subject under 6 words. Short, plain emails get more replies and fewer spam flags.
- Write in plain text style: no images, no heavy formatting, one link at most.
- Ask one clear question at the end. Do not include a calendar link in email 1.
- Name campaigns consistently (for example SaaS-CTO-Sep26-v1) so reporting stays readable when you have dozens of campaigns.
Troubleshooting
- Continue is greyed out — the campaign name is empty or no channel type is selected.
- You cannot find Create Campaign — click Campaigns in the left nav; the button is at the top of the campaign list.
