Spintext lets you give OutreachFox several alternatives for a phrase. Each send picks one at random, so the emails leaving your mailboxes are not word-for-word copies of each other. Mailbox providers score identical bulk copy as a spam signal; spintext, together with variables, keeps each message unique.

Steps

  1. Open the campaign, select the step and place the cursor in the body (or subject) where you want the randomised phrase.
  2. Click Spintext in the editor toolbar and enter your alternatives, for example a greeting with three options: "Hi", "Hello", "Hey".

  1. Repeat for one or two other phrases in the email, such as the opener sentence or the sign-off.
  2. Check that both your variables and your spintext blocks are in place, then click Preview to see a rendered version. Preview several times to confirm different alternatives are chosen.

  1. Click Save.

What you see afterwards: spintext blocks show in the editor as a highlighted group. At send time each recipient receives one of the alternatives.

Tips

  • Two to four alternatives per block is enough. Spinning every sentence makes copy hard to read and to maintain.
  • Spin low-risk phrases: greetings, sign-offs, transition sentences. Do not spin the value proposition or the call to action, or you cannot tell which version worked.
  • Alternatives should be the same length and tone so the email still reads naturally whichever one is chosen.
  • Spintext is different from A/B variants. Spintext randomises inside one variant; variants are separate emails whose results you compare.

Troubleshooting

  • Preview always shows the same alternative — preview picks at random; try again several times. If it never changes, the block was not saved as spintext (plain text with braces is not parsed).
  • Odd spacing around the spun phrase — put spaces outside the spintext block, not inside each alternative.
