By default OutreachFox sends HTML emails. Turning on Send emails in plain text strips the HTML wrapper so the message is delivered as plain text only. Plain text emails look like a normal one-to-one email, render the same in every client, and carry fewer of the signals spam filters associate with marketing mail.
Steps
- Create a new campaign or pick an existing one from the Campaigns list. The steps are the same either way.

- Click Edit Campaign on the chosen campaign.

- Go to Settings within the campaign.

- Scroll down and click Show Advanced Configurations.

- Find Send emails in plain text and enable it.

- Confirm the toggle is on, then save (for a live campaign, click Resume Campaign).

What you see afterwards: all emails in this campaign are sent as plain text. Bold, links with custom anchor text, images and HTML signatures are not rendered; a link shows as its full URL.
Tips
- Plain text is the recommended setting for cold outreach. Use HTML only when you genuinely need formatting.
- Open tracking relies on an invisible image, so open rates are not available in plain text mode. Judge by replies instead.
- Write links as bare URLs in the copy so they read naturally in plain text.
- If your signature is HTML (logo, coloured text), set a plain text version under Mailbox → Settings → Edit signature before enabling this.
Troubleshooting
- Signature looks broken — the HTML signature is being flattened. Replace it with a text-only signature.
- Setting does not stick — you must click Resume Campaign (or Save) after toggling; leaving the page discards the change.
