Add email steps and variants to a multi-channel sequence

With the campaign created and Start with Email chosen, write the first email, add variants if you want to test copy, and add the next step. The next step can be another email or a LinkedIn action.

What you see afterwards: the sequence panel lists step 1 (Email) with its variants and step 2 with its channel icon. Continue with Add LinkedIn actions and conditions to a multi-channel sequence.

Tips

  • In a multi-channel flow keep emails shorter than in email-only campaigns; the LinkedIn touches carry part of the message.
  • Reference the other channel lightly ("also sent you a note on LinkedIn") once, not in every step.
  • Variants work per step, so you can test the email while keeping the LinkedIn steps constant.
  • The same variables (lead, sender, context) and spintext are available in multi-channel email steps.

Troubleshooting

  • Add Sequence does nothing — the current step is unsaved. Click Save first.
  • Email step shows no delay field — step 1 has no delay; delays appear from step 2 onward.
