A multi-channel campaign sequences email and LinkedIn actions in one flow, with conditions and variants. This first article creates the campaign and picks which channel the sequence starts on. The following three articles add email steps, LinkedIn actions and conditions, and launch.
Prerequisites
- At least one connected mailbox.
- A connected LinkedIn account (see Connect your LinkedIn account to OutreachFox).
Steps
- In your OutreachFox account, click Campaigns in the left nav.
- Click Create Campaign.
- Enter a name for your campaign.
- Select Multi Channel Outreach and click Create.
- Inside the sequence editor you see two options: Start with Email and Start with LinkedIn. This choice sets the first step of the campaign. Click the one you want.
What you see afterwards: step 1 is created for the chosen channel and the editor opens for it. Continue with Add email steps and variants to a multi-channel sequence.
Tips
- Start with LinkedIn (a profile view or connection request) when the list is senior or small; a warm name in their notifications lifts the reply rate of the email that follows.
- Start with email when the list is large or you have limited LinkedIn daily capacity; LinkedIn actions are rate-limited to protect your account, email is not to the same degree.
- The starting channel cannot be swapped after steps are added without rebuilding the sequence; decide first.
- Contacts in a multi-channel campaign need both an email address and a LinkedIn URL. Rows missing the LinkedIn URL skip LinkedIn steps.
Troubleshooting
- Only Start with Email is shown — no LinkedIn account is connected yet. Connect one under Settings, then reopen the campaign.
- Create is disabled — the campaign name is empty.
