A LinkedIn Outreach campaign automates connection requests, messages and engagement actions from your LinkedIn profile. This article creates the campaign and sets up the first step: a connection request with a personalised note.
Prerequisites
- A LinkedIn account connected to OutreachFox.
- Contacts with a LinkedIn profile URL.
Steps
- Click Create Campaign from the campaign list.

- Enter a name for your campaign, for example "LinkedIn Outreach". Select LinkedIn Outreach as the campaign type.

- Click Create to start building your sequence.

- Click Start with LinkedIn and pick your first action. Choose Connection Request.

- Enter a personalised note for the connection request, then click Save.

What you see afterwards: step 1 (Connection Request) appears in the sequence panel. Continue with LinkedIn conditions, wait times and branching.
Tips
- Notes are limited to 300 characters by LinkedIn; aim for 150–200. Say who you are and why them, no pitch.
- Requests without a note are accepted at similar rates and do not count against LinkedIn's monthly note allowance on free accounts. Test both.
- Use variables ({{first_name}}, {{company}}) in the note so each request reads as written by hand.
- Do not mention "email" in the note; a request that reads like a follow-up to unsolicited email is more likely to be ignored.
Troubleshooting
- Start with LinkedIn is missing — no LinkedIn account is connected. Connect one first.
- Note is cut off — over 300 characters after variables are filled. Shorten it; check with a long company name.
